Hi lovelies- I am going to make this quick bc I have a lot to do. First, of all thank you so much for your thoughtful insight to my last post. I think I am definitely on the right track and the funny thing is, just acknowledging my fledging concentration has already helped!
Back to yesterday, I’ll show you what finally motivated me to write that post:

Please don't hate me! I was falling asleep at my desk and this totes helped.
Yesterday evening, while walking home, I ran into a bunch of the crew from MTV’s The Real World videotaping the house. I didn’t see any cast members lurking about, but I snapped photos anyway to be a total creeper.

I've also been stalking their "cigarette butt" bucket and have discovered that one of the cast members smokes Newports. No, not Newport Lites, Newports. Classy. Not that I should talk, since I am stalking their trash.
Dinna was divine, and basically a repeat of Sunday- a bed of kale with roasted veggies on top (tossed with garlic, evoo, salt, and pepper), topped with goat cheese. The veggies got a little burnt because I got distracted, but I’ll never shun extra carmelization!

Uh. It's just like garlic, salt, and fat hugging my very favorite foods.

Sorry, Suz, I know you don't like goat cheese. But now every time I bust it out, Mike starts making goat noises, so I feel like it is a permanent staple in the Ferguson household.
Dessert was a big hunk of a (white) organic baguette from WF smothered in olive oil margarine, atop the current issue of Dickinson Magazine. Eating this made me so happy and reminded me of being in Italy!

Before each lunch and dinner, I would eat a sh**-ton of bread that was put on our table. Like way more than this. It was my favorite part of the trip!
This morning I was good and hung for my breakfast, which was ~1/3c. Greek yogurt, ~1/3c. Fiber One, a HUGE banana, and a scoop of almond butter.

My jar of almond butter I bought 3 days ago is already half gone. Sweet.
No idea why, but this did absolutely NADA to hold me over. I was starving by 10, so I dug into 2 perfectly ripe plums. They were a beautiful shade of chilly red and so juicy.

To me, plums are the absolute essence of summer. I remember eating them on the beach all the time when I was a kid!
I had a crazy busy morning and broke for lunch a little later than normal (1:00- that’s 6.5 hrs after breakfast!). Lunch was perfect- leftover veggies, and a sandwich made with Trader Joe’s fake Ezekiel bread topped with a little schmear of pesto on one side and a light Laughing Cow on the other with 4 slices of Tofurkey and sprouts. Yum!

Hmm- I don't know why leftovers have such a bad stigma. I actually prefer them, since that extra night in the fridge really develops and combines their flavors, just like marinating!
I was still pretty hung after this, so I dug into my afternoon snack.

Tastes like a healthy brownie. Love!
My day has been going really well- I’m getting a ton done, and crossing lots of things off my to-do list!

I could not LIVE without my planner

Speaking of which, I had to get a new cover for it recently, so I just said "screw it" and got my new monogram with an "F" instead of a "D"! Now whenever I look at it, I get excited!
That’s all folks- I’m back to more buznass. Happy hump day!

I just want to say that I impressed with your stalking. You really would have been an asset when my friend and I were finding the housewives. Plus you know the ‘hood!

Of course we don’t hate you, I think we’ve all had diet coke + swedish fish-like moments
I love your planner! I mostly just use Google calendar but find that I can’t look anything up unless I am at a computer (I need to get a phone with internet)!
Have a great afternoon

When I started getting things with my new initials it made me SO EXCITED and happy! I could never imagine not taking Justin’s last name!
And I couldn’t be anymore jealous of those swedish fish and diet coke. I think that combo is what I need to get me through the day. Now if only the little cafe downstairs took plastic!
Happiness Awaits

Smart with the new initials already! And when you’re ready for the Social Security name change talk – let me know. It’s fun
I love that you’re my RWDC stalker. It’s fantastic.
I also love that you use the old school planner – that’s how I am and I always get comments on how I don’t use my Blackberry or Outlook. I like it written! I’ve also got a big dry erase one in our home office. Slightly obsessed.

You should stir up some drama by throwing in a piece of a “letter” into the trash for them to find….oh, the possibilities
