Hello lovely bloggies- aren’t you so glad it is Wednesday and heading toward the end of the week? Work is going well. I am currently sipping on some green tea and am loving it. I switched over to a v. fancy earl grey that I was given as a gift last month and am back to green now and really feel a difference. About a year ago I gave up coffee on the weekdays and decided to reserve it for vacation and the weekends, and discovered I was so dependent on it- I had to endure weeks of horrible headaches and fatigue!
On to food. Yesterday evening, I munched on my fair share of raw veggies while preparing dinner. It didn’t turn out so well so I am not going to go into detail but there is some polenta and mushroom sauce in there and steamed broccoli. Not a pretty plate, but tasty to eat!

I passed out right after dinner. I have been utterly exhausted all week despite plenty of sleep, exercise, and healthy food. Grrrr. But, I was very excited for breakfast this morning because I finally bought this:

I had 1/2c. plain ff yogurt with 1/2c. puffed kamut and cinn, plus a banana with a tablespoon full of the good stuff. I must say, it was pretty delicious, but the thing I like best about peanut butter is the intense peanut taste and the runiness, so I think I will reserve this pb for sandwiches, when runiness doesn’t work.

Breakkie held me over pretty well until I had a pear for a snack this morning.

Lunch was actually quite delicious- I had 3 pcs. Tofurky on lite whole wheat bread with some Nayonaise, mustard, lettuce and a slice of pepperjack. I never eat real mayonaise in real life, but love the vegan stuff! For side treats, I had carrots (duh), a small green apple, and an Odwalla oatmeal-cookielike SuperProtein Bar. MMMMM.

I totally agree about nut butter runniness. I love it when I mix some natural almond butter in my yogurt and it runs all over the place. I have found that the PB&Co. butters just stick in one place. Still tasty though!
