September 2, 2008: If it is Fall, the AC Needn’t be On- Updated

So my office’s AC is still blasting, which seems entirely unnecessary (not to mention uncomfortable!) as I write this post.  I am sipping some Tazo Refresh tea in attempt to warm up!

Breakfast this morning was back to the normal.  I had my overnight oats- 1/2c. rolled oats soaked in a little more than 1/2c. almond milk and 1 T. flax.  This morning, I added 3 big spoonfuls of plain soy yogurt, some stevia, nutmeg, a chopped banana, and a spoon of pb for extra satiety.  So creamy!

I had zero seconds to pack my lunch this morning, so I stuffed the following in my tote for a balances lunch:  a container of Dr. McDougall’s Light Sodium Split Pea Soup (I strongly dislike most premade soups but love this one), a baggie of carrots, and a peach with a plain yogurt for dessert.  The soup and yogurt made this a protein-packed meal!  I missed having bread though…

So I am making up for it by having a 2 part afternoon snack- a fresh, juicy Ginger Gold apple and a Roasted Almond Crunch Kashi Bar.

Hope you guys are easing into work/school smoothly after a long weekend.  I’m off to get a haircut after work, see you for dinner!

So I am a moron and forgot to bring my camera home from work!  Dinner was a huge salad, a small whole wheat roll with 1/4c. hummus, and 1/2c. Good Friends Cereal eaten plain.

And for dessert, an apple with a HUGE scoop of cashew butter (1/4c.?) and drenched in agave.  I think my appetite might be up because I have been working out a little more recently.
