Welcome to day 2 of my detox! I am so happy that I am going to feel at peace with drinking wine and eating sweets this weekend so don’t begrudge my limited diet at all for these few days. So I woke up good and hungry for breakfast- I just love that feeling! I had a big tupperware of cantaloupe and watermelon and a sliced banana, drizzled with a little agave to flavor the underripe melon pieces. Combined with tea, this filled me up ok.
But I got hungry about 2 hours later and had a handful of trail mix as a snack. I forgot to take a picture- sorry!
And was hungry again an hour later, so began picking at my lunch a little. When it was actually time for lunch, I had a beautiful salad made of a small zucchini and a cucumber sliced and dressed with a little evoo, red wine vinegar, agave, salt, and red pepper. I also had a container of watermelon and cantaloupe with a little agave, then a small apple and a 45-calorie pack of raisins. A voluminous lunch for not too many calories!

I felt a little unfocused later and decided I could use some protein, so had some trail mix.
Then at about 3, I was ready for a snack so had some more watermelon/honeydew with a little agave. It’s so great to just chew healthy, fresh fruit and know it is doing good things to your body!
I snacked on an apple and a carrot *no pic) while preparing dinner and Wednesday’s meals. Sorry about the gross picture- I had my cam on autoflash for some reason.
Dinner was delicious- a big ol’ salad with collards, red cabbage, iceberg, onions, tomatoes, carrots, radishes, mushrooms, raisins, and walnuts topped with Goddess/Gingerly Vinagrette dressings, mustard, and red pepper. I also had a bowl of watermelon and honeydew cubes and some chopped mango, strawberry, and kiwi pieces. The salad was awesome- walnuts and raisings really elevate a salad from lite to hearty. I was quite full!
Later that night, I snacked on some baby carrots at Mike’s- sorry, I forgot to take a photo!

I am so glad that you’re feeling happy from the inside out
Fruit always does that to me, it makes me feel so clean and refreshed! I eat it E.V.E.R.Y. single morning. Probably in the past two years I have not gone without it. Actually, I know that for a fact
Ice cold Mango in Fage (or Plain Soy Yogurt for you
) is out of this world! I always eat the skins too… I just love the chew, but if you’re just starting out with the skins, I’d stick to the Champagne or “Yellow” Mangos because they are very delicate! Y.U.M.
Also, I added you to my blogroll, so I hope that’s all right! Let me know beauty! Enjoy your Humpday! The weekend is almost here!!!
